I went to the doctor this morning and everything looks good. The baby's heartbeat was strong (once they actually found it, and, no, I actually didn't freak out!). I lost 4 pounds since my last visit, which concerned the nurse until I told her that was totally normal for me in my first trimester (I lost 8 pounds in the first 3 months with Caleb). It's a bonus to feeling yucky for so long. ;-)
Once I feel better, my doctor wants me to start a walking program and eat as healthy as possible.

Yeah for a good report! It's so comforting to FINALLY be able to hear the little heartbeat. :)
I always loved hearing the "hoofbeats" (that is what it always sounded like to me, was a herd of horses running!) You are a quarter of the way there! Hope you get to feeling better soon! Your niece's pictures are soooo cute!
Yay! that sounds like a great checkup!
Ummm, and my doctor would like for me to get on a walking program and eat as healthy as possible too - but it has nothing to do with any sort of pregnancy. Perhaps it's because I'm starting to LOOK pregnant despite my unrented womb...
I was the same way, I would lose weight until I gain it back tri fold!! Great check up, yippeee.
I am so glad to hear things went well. Your pregnancy seems to be flying by. I know this is because I am not the one pregnant. I can't wait to meet the newest member of our family! By the way...I think it's a girl.
Okay...I've tried this twice...I'll do it again. I'm so glad to hear you're feeling well. I've been wondering about you. I too got so sick that I lost at least 10+ pounds during the first trimester. Hang in there...you're almost through it.
