Thoughts

I can't count the number of times I've said over the last 8 weeks, "I CAN'T do this." Usually it's when, simultaneously, Caleb is in full two-year-old mode and Levi won't sleep. (Don't be surprised if you come to our house and Caleb says, "I sittin' in the naughty chair." He's been there A LOT lately!)

But things are getting better day by day. I finally feel like I'm starting to get the hang of this "parent of two children" business. It's hard. And it's much more than double the amount of work! But it's good, and I'm loving being the mom of two boys. "My two sweet boys" I call them all the time.

Levi is finally feeling up and breathing much better. Thank you all for your prayers for us over the last four weeks. It's been a long month of sickness, but I think we've finally turned the corner!

I'm so glad to hear that you're all starting to feel better. I'm praying this is the last you'll see of this bug for a long while.

You will wear out the snuggli sling thingy really soon!!! I know because Malachi spent the first year in mine. The stroller was too much trouble when trying to hold EMily's hand. We hope to see you on Tuesday for the Thanksgiving meal...I will gladly hold Levi while you eat! =)

This is great news, and I am so happy to hear that you are doing better! I still wonder sometimes if all the trials of teaching have helped you to be a more patient parent. How do two helpless little boys compare to a room of 35 hormonal teenagers? :-)

So glad things are looking up. I can't imagine all the challenges you've been facing recently but you're doing great!

It has been a while since I checked on you... you poor dear... glad to hear things are looking up for sweet little Levi... it is so hard to have a sick baby!
As for the mommy of 2 boys, you will het the hang of it, and when it all falls into place, you will be rejoicing that you have 2 sweet (but they all have their "naughty moments!) boys who are best friends! I will pray for peaceful sleep for Levi which equals peaceful sleep for mommy! Yall get well!!
love,
summer
ps-- his announcement is precious!

Oh, that is good news! Yes, two children is way more than just one more than more than one. (That may not have made sense to you but it is perfectly clear to me. Scary, huh?) The good news is that 3 is just one more and I've been told the forth you barely notice. Should I go on? ;-)

Yay for everything improving and your feeling a little more confident in the parenting of 2 kids. It does get easier, but unfortunately it takes a long time to get to that point. Remember God can get you through ANYTHING, even this!

I am so glad that everyone is finally starting to feel better. Hang in there, Jenn, it does get easier as time goes on. Pretty soon you'll be an old pro at mothering two boys. =)

So glad you are getting the "hang" of it--it's much easier when they are both healthy--and you are healthy! Children really are incredible, when you are feeling awake enough and good enough physically to be aware of it. I pray you find many things to enjoy from your sweet boys each day!
