Christmas Tour of Homes

Welcome to my Home!

Our tree...you'll notice it's only decorated half-way down! Thanks, Caleb. :-)

The centerpiece of my mantle. My grandmother gave this angel to me a couple of years ago. She has one just like it that she's had for years, and she was thrilled when she found one for my sister and me as well.

Stockings hung by the chimney with care...

My mom just finished making Caleb's stocking. She's the talented one in the family! I wish you could see every bead and sequin and stitch on this stocking. It's a work of art, a labor of love.

And, of course, our little Aggie tree. My best friend, Lisa, gave it to me when she moved out of state. We display it proudly in our house!

Some more ornaments from our tree...

This one we got when we went to Hawaii this year. It says "Mele Kalikimaka" (Merry Christmas in Hawaiian). We've continued the tradition hubby's mom started and we try to buy an ornament every year that represents a place we went or something we did together as a family.

This ornament was given to me by my mother-in-law when hubby and I were just dating. I never forget that hubby is not "truly" Texan (because he reminds me of that fact!).

Thanks for stopping by! Head to BooMama's for more home tours!

Have a blessed and Merry Christmas!

Great pictures, love the half-way decorated tree, that is so cute! Your angel is so cute, and I bet that Caleb's stocking is gorgeous in person, it looks like she put a ton of work into it :)

Thanks for sharing your home with us, and Merry Christmas!

What a gorgeous wreath you have and I must say that I am in love with your Hawaiian ornament...I got married in Hawaii about 12 years ago so it will always be a very special place to me. Thanks for showing me around.

I love your Christmas tree. How funny that the bottom half is ornament free but I do understand.

OK, this is amazing. I do know exactly how much work your mother put into Caleb's stocking because it's exactly the same stocking I made Cameron last year. Exactly the same one. I've made more of these stockings through the years than I can count. Every member of our entire family has one.

Thank you for inviting us all into your pretty home. And Merry Christmas to you!

ROTFL!! We only put toddler-safe ornaments on the bottom half of our tree ;). We barely have the Christmas tree up, agh!

This was wonderful and just what I was waiting for! I know it sounds weird, but I feel like you really did just show me around your house to look at your Christmas decorations! I didn't quite feel my hug, though, or hear Caleb's little owl-man laugh (is he still doing that?).

It's so fun to see that little Aggie tree displayed with pride! I think it takes two Aggies in the house to make it work... Dave still doesn't quite get it. :-)

I love you,
Lisa

Love that about your tree half decorated, we had to do that some when the kids were little. How fun!

The Aggie tree is NEAT! And how special to come from such a friend, too.

Hey, I'm finally getting around to thanking folks for their nice comments on my Mommy Ranting post. You're right, this motherhood thing is HARD! Sure felt good letting off some steam, though, and hearing from others knowing we're not alone in this, eh? ;)

I am slowly making my way through BooMama's tour.

Everything is lovely! I love the idea of ornaments as souveniers.

My tour is buried here under some other posts.

Merry Christmas!
