We went to an Indian place tonight...CURRY GARDENn (spelled just like that!), and Caleb was not too happy about the choices for food. There was a pizza place just a couple of stalls down that had chicken nuggets, but we wanted them to try to eat the food, so we didn't mention the chicken nuggets.
LOOK! He ate it. He's super picky, so this was quite a feat. (It may have involved a little bribery.)
And another thing...we found a FREE parking lot next to this place, and a FREE parking lot right in front of Giant (Singapore's Wal-Mart). We pulled right up there, did our shopping, loaded the car and went home. It was almost like we lived in Texas. A great find, indeed!

Yea Caleb! That's got to be difficult with so many new sights, smells, and tastes.
A big yea for finding free parking next to the restaurant and also in front of Giant! That's awesome!
Miss you guys! xo - Holly & Josh
What a joy to live overseas... and to find those gems of places you didn't expect! Lucky you! I lived in Japan for 12 years (original plan was only 1!) and loved it. Really enjoyed this post.
YAY!!
Yay for new food! Juliana is very picky too, so it's always quite a task to try something new. By the way, have I mentioned yet how much I love your son's name?? That was our choice had our little one been a boy :-)
Haha, you neglected to mention that you are also a little picky about weird Asian food sometimes. ;-) Although if you CHOSE to go to an Indian place, it sounds like your tastes are expanding right along with your boys! Had any of those crazy fish balls we (or just I?) ate in Thailand?
P.S. What's up with GARDENn? Is that a Singaporean joke or something?
haha, Lisa! My tastes have expanded A LOT since we lived in Thailand! And, NO, I still don't eat fish balls, but I did see them at the store the other day and thought of you. I've got no idea what's up with GARDENn. I guess they just added an extra "n" for effect. :-)
