I'm still memorizing my passage from Daniel 2,
"He reveals deep and hidden things. He knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him." -Daniel 2:22 NIV
but I'm also going to work on this one:
"And those who walk in pride He is able to humble." -Daniel 4:37 NIV
Part of our lessons on Daniel lately have been about pride. God was really stepping on my toes through those lessons, and I realized there's a lot of pride in my heart. It's not pretty. I need His Word to help counteract the thoughts in my head. I'd certainly rather hide His Word in my heart and get rid of this pride than be humbled by Him.
So, what are you memorizing/meditating on/studying lately?

I need God's Word to counteract the thoughts in my head, too. The battlefield is the mind, and the Enemy's arrows can sneak up on us sometimes. When this happens, i want to have a verse ready to quench those fiery things.
I have been doing a study by Dr. John Barnett called The Gift of New Beginnings.
I found this verse, and it really speaks to where i'm at, right now... I would like to memorize the following 2, as well. :)
"Therefore this is what the LORD says: 'If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve Me; if you utter worthy, not worthless, words, you will be My spokesman. Let this people turn to you, but you must not turn to them.'" ~ Jeremiah 15:19 (NIV)
Be very careful, then, how you live---not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.
Ephesians 5:15-17 NIV
I read this as I was reading through different scriptures about seeking God's direction. This one stuck with me because of the part to make the most of every opportunity. I liked it because no matter what the direction is... I am to make the most of every opportunity. I think I waste a lot of time and could be more intentional with what I do.
Yikes and ditto on the pride thoughts. My new memory verse is John 14:6.
