Works for Me Wednesday, Part 2
It's time for another installment of Works for Me Wednesday. Another laundry tip. I have two laundry baskets in our closet. One is white for light/white clothes. The other is blue for dark/colored clothing. The dirty clothes are put immediately into the proper basket which saves time sorting later. I just take the one that's almost full to the washing machine and start the process. Works for Me!

Ahhh, to be able to fit all my laundry in only 2 baskets! Maybe 4? Thanks for sharing!
That, my friend, is inspired!
I am sitting here wondering why I never thought of this sooner. Our one laundry basket will find another use and I will try this method TODAY. Thanks!
Much easier to discern then my labels- makes sorting laundry "hubby proof." Thanks for sharing!
Your closet floor is so clean! And, boy that tip makes sense!!
I NEED to do this! LOL
My laundry room is a wreck, so it might be a near-future "Tackle It Tuesday" challenge. I don't divide by lights and darks, though. I divide by items--tops and pants; sheets, pillowcases, aprons; towels, for example. In fact, I usually divide the tops from the pants. This way I can see what really 'needs' to be done. And with 7 people living here--I, too, would be amazed if I could fit it all in 2 baskets, LOL!
I enjoyed your Wednesday post last week so much--I did WFMW today--this is another great idea!
Great tip...I bought one of those three all in one piece sorters for laundry - complete dud! The compartments were too small and you couln't carry the darn thing once it was full - I like your idea better!
