Prices in Singapore

I took this picture tonight at Cold Storage because I still can't believe Haagen-Dazs costs this much! S$15.65 for a PINT (US $11.18)! I refuse to pay those prices (until I'm really desperate), so we buy the local store brand for about S$5 for 1.5 Liters. A much better deal. :-)

I remember the first time I looked at buying the Jello cups (individual pre made jello) it was like $15... and the cheese here (good cheese) is ridiculous... I totally understand.

My Gracious. That is some pricey Ice cream. Good reason to go on a diet! Thanks for keeping the blog site so well updated! I love looking at it with Garrett!

One of the many reasons why I do not shop at Cold Storage!!

..... and because Singapore has to export everything in, I can understand why so many items can be a little more expensive, but that Ice Cream is very expensive.

Will have to send you details of the warehouses where you can buy most things a lot cheaper.

Whoa, someplace that is actually more expensive than Alaska... ;-)

Good thing Asian ice cream is good, too, right?
