Better

Thanks, everyone, for your prayers that I feel better. I took NyQuil last night...which I haven't done in about 2 years since I was either pregnant or nursing...and I slept great! I am still stuffy this morning, but am feeling much better than yesterday (read: I've made it off the couch). My ribs and abdominal muscles are quite sore from all the sneezing and coughing, but maybe it's a good workout for me, right? :-)

Caleb and I are meeting Justin in a couple of hours because today is his company Thanksgiving family lunch. They actually provide a wonderful bbq lunch for all the employees and their families, complete with pecan pie. How great is that?

Tomorrow we're off to spend Thanksgiving with my side of the family. I can't wait to see all my cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandmas. My Nana is making dumplings. *sigh* I can taste them already.

I'm making two pumpkin pies...my very favorite!

Woohoo! Good ole Nyquil. The relief is worth the brain fog. ;) Happy, Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! Travel safe!

I'm jealous. I miss OUR Thanksgiving food. Mom is going to have to make a huge pan of her dressing for Christmas. Actually, maybe one pan for the preggo and one for the rest of y'all. :)

Enjoy the delicious Thanksgiving meal provided by Mustang. I am jealous. I think Ben must be, too. He called and invited us to go eat with him just to get his mind off of it! Have a safe trip and enjoy your family!

Hope you have a great lunch today and a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family! So glad you are feeling better. We tease my Mom about the Nyquill because I don't think she has ever had an alcoholic drink in her life but she will certainly take the Nyquill when she has a cold! Hey, if it makes you sleep and feel better, I am all for it! Blessings Jen!

I had no idea you were sick, I'm sorry. It's horrible feeling that way and still having to provide for little ones. Have a wonderful holiday!!

I'm glad you're feeling better. I've been sick, too, and I'm sore from the coughing. One of the best cures is to get enough sleep at night. So that helps. This isn't the best time to be sick, of course, but hopefully it will pass soon. Sounds like you're having a very nice Thanksgiving. And I'll be decorating for Christmas this weekend, too. We always put the tree up Thanksgiving weekend.

Get well soon. I know it's twice as hard to feel down with little ones around. No rest for Mom!
